Marketing and Commercial Manager UK
Marketing & Brand Development
• Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy for the restaurant chain.
• Strengthen brand positioning and ensure consistent communication across all outlets, digital platforms, and promotional materials.
• Manage campaigns for new product launches, seasonal promotions, loyalty programs, and special events.
• Monitor customer trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage the restaurant chain’s digital presence (social media, website, SEO/SEM, online reviews).
• Coordinate with creative agencies, media partners, and influencers.
Commercial & Sales Strategy
• Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase sales, average ticket size, and customer traffic.
• Design and manage pricing strategies in alignment with brand positioning and market trends.
• Negotiate and manage partnerships with delivery platforms (Uber Eats, DoorDash, Deliveroo, etc.), suppliers, and corporate clients.
• Analyze outlet-level sales performance and propose corrective actions for underperforming stores.
• Collaborate with the operations team to design upselling, cross-selling, and bundling strategies.
Customer Experience & Loyalty
• Lead the design and execution of customer loyalty and CRM programs.
• Ensure customer feedback is monitored and addressed to improve satisfaction and retention.
• Use data analytics (POS, CRM, digital platforms) to understand customer behavior and personalize marketing campaigns.
Financial & Performance Management
• Develop and monitor the marketing & commercial budget.
• Track ROI of campaigns, promotions, and partnerships.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and promotional effectiveness to senior management.
• Contribute to annual sales and revenue forecasts.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Lead, train, and motivate a marketing team (digital, PR, designers, etc.).
• Work closely with operations, finance, and HR to align marketing and commercial objectives with restaurant operations.
- • Ensure all staff understand promotional campaigns and how to implement them in outlets.
 
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of F&B and hospitality industry trends.
• Proven experience in marketing and sales strategy, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality chain.
• Excellent knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and CRM tools.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Creative thinking combined with strong execution discipline.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree , Business Administration, or related field.
• 3 years minimum of experience in marketing/commercial roles, with at least 2–3 years in F&B, retail, or hospitality.
• Track record of driving revenue growth and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Experience working with franchise or multi-branch operations is a strong plus.
